About The Maple Grove Estate Wedding Venue
Maple Grove Estate boasts over 15 acres of Tennessee countryside that exudes Southern charm and beauty. The historic 10,000-square-foot home was originally built in 1799 as the private residence of Reverend Samuel Graham Ramsey, with a mix of Georgian and Federal-style architecture. Over the centuries, it has taken on many other names (Glenmary, Mount Ebenezer, and The Parsonage, to name a few). A private residence from 1799 through 1993, it most recently served as a cozy bed and breakfast before being purchased by Knoxville locals. The Shankles family poured their hearts into a careful renovation, taking care to maintain the spirit of Maple Grove while making it a modern event space for couples and families to enjoy for generations to come.
Details of the Grounds
Maple Grove Estate is one of the most flexible venues in the area in that it doesn’t offer just one specific spot for ceremonies and another for receptions. Instead, the gorgeous estate has a variety of beautiful sites that can accommodate weddings of all sizes (up to 185 guests) while still fitting your wedding vision as best as possible.
To begin with, you, your partner, and your respective parties can begin your day by getting ready in the Bridal Suite and Groom’s Quarters. The Bridal Suite has a fireplace lounge, a private bathroom, and a private covered porch overlooking the grounds. It’s a simplistic and beautiful space that is great for capturing getting-ready photos as everyone prepares for the big day. The Groom’s Quarters similarly has a fireplace lounge and panoramic and stunning views of the surrounding property.
Maple Grove Estate Receptions and Ceremonies
For your Maple Grove Estate ceremony, the sky’s the limit! Say “I do” indoors or outdoors; whatever you choose, your vow exchange will be beautiful and romantic. There is a patio courtyard shaded by tall trees that is quiet and intimate, with a linen-draped pergola that makes a beautiful setting for a ceremony. Or take advantage of a balcony backdrop surrounded by greenery and elegant lanterns, with a brickwork aisle that will lead you to your partner. And these are just the beginning – you need to tour the venue to see for yourself all of the opportunities for a gorgeous ceremony!
Then, for your reception, you have similar flexibility. They offer tent-covered and exposed outdoor areas, so you can either dine al fresco alongside your guests or beneath twinkle lights lining an elegant tent. Both spaces offer a totally blank canvas for you to incorporate your unique wedding vision, including decor, floor plan arrangements, and lighting. Indoors, the estate’s elegant and historic architecture is perfect for timeless portraits, especially positioned in front of stately fireplaces and bookshelves. Wedding Details
Maple Grove Estate offers a baseline wedding package to help you bring your dream wedding to life. This customizable package handles everything from event times to overnight accommodations, as well as additional rentals and service agreements. They do provide you with a list of pre-approved vendors that have proven time and time again that they can deliver services that live up to the standard of quality of a Maple Grove Estate wedding. Additionally, you can choose to add on a Rehearsal Dinner in the mansion’s beautiful banquet room for up to 50 guests, treating your family and wedding party to a beautiful kickoff celebration in the place where all of your dreams are about to come true.
