Jake and Elizabeth’s spring wedding at the Silver Oaks Chateau was incredible. Their day was filled with love and support from those closest to them. Not only are they perfect for each other, they are both so kind and God-driven people. Jake and Elizabeth spent their day focused on their love, and the journey God placed them on to find each other. While it might always have been easy, they ultimately found each other and celebrated their love.
These two met in Alcoholics Anonymous, and came together to come closer to God, while bettering themselves. They were able to turn their lives around and now have a beautiful son named Benjamin that they love and adore. Just like their story, their wedding day was unique, special, and absolutely perfect for them.
Jake and Elizabeth got married in February. Elizabeth is incredibly sentimental and wanted to include as much family tradition, and memory into their day as she could. Both grandparents got married in February, which lead them to a February wedding date as well. Jake and Elizabeth chose to forgo a first look, and instead had a first hand-hold. It was such a sweet and powerful moment, as they held hands for the first time on their wedding day commiting to hold each other’s hands through life.
The ceremony was super intricate and unique. They had 10 special people talk about them as a couple and their distinct paths to get to where they are now, and their relationship. Elizabeth’s word for the day was resilient, many people used that word to describe her and Jake being able to overcome various trials to place them here today. They were both described as strong and resilient by many friends and family. Jake was so much fun to work with and such a ball of energy.
Jake and Elizabeth’s wedding was an incredible day that I won’t soon forget, they are so sweet together, and their love for God is so inspiring. For their reception dinner they chose breakfast for dinner, which is also a family tradition. Overall, their Silver Oaks Chateau wedding was incredible, and so full of love and strength.
