A Tennessee based wedding photographer serving couples world wide!
The expansive grounds of Kinmount House, located just outside of Annan, Scotland, is equally impressive and calming. From the moment you pass under the arched entryway, you are met with the sense of calm. A long drive takes you through the forested area and alongside a loch filled with lily pads before the manor suddenly appears on the hilltop against the sweeping sky of the Scottish countryside. Completed in the 1820’s, the property has a lengthy history – which you should check out here if you’re a history nerd like myself. Whether you are seeking beautiful fields, cozy accommodations, curated gardens, or a fascinating place to read up on – this Scotland wedding venue is sure to check all of your boxes for your Scottish wedding!
The grounds at this Scotland wedding venue offer ample options for photography – it would actually be difficult to use every single feature all within the same day! Fox & Fig Photography couple James & Laura chose to hold their ceremony in the Tea Room. Following this, they held a cocktail hour in the Italian Gardens just outside the room. Other ceremony locations include The Orangery for small elopements, The Loch Stairs for something unique, or the front lawn of Kinmount. They held a welcome event onsite the day before the ceremony, utilizing the Croft House. Finally, held their reception at The Pavilion – overlooking a beautiful Scotland sunset with Kinmount’s herd of cattle grazing peacefully in the distance as guests enjoyed after-dinner tea and coffee.
I travel the world for weddings near and far – so I can say this with confidence. This is a wedding venue that will wow your guests, make you feel at home, and truly create a wedding experience that holds its timelessness for years to come.
